Suppertime

It is almost suppertime. I am going to make some steak tonight with mashed potatoes and gravy. A good salad will go well with that and some fruit. Tomorrow is the big day for eating Thanksgiving dinner so should go lighter tonight. There is nothing like a good hot home cooked meal, is there? Last night we went out and ate so that was a treat too.

Steak Dinner

We had a great steak dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary. We always go to the same restaurant because they have a small filet that just melts in your mouth. They have an excellent cook there. We always look forward to Mexican on Thursday nights but changed it and had steaks. They were also having a buffet.

Steak and Potatoes

There is nothing like a good steak. Especially when you have mashed potatoes and wonderful gravy to go with it. Mix together a great salad and there you are. It is an easy supper, using the grill and whip up an easy dessert, like sliced peaches and you are all set. Fresh biscuits or muffins, butter and jelly finish up the meal. We will probably have an ice cream later on. Sound good?

Steak and Salad

There is nothing better than a good tender steak and a good salad and baked potato. That is what we had for supper tonight. I have a Char-B-Que I got about 38 years ago that grills inside and is electric and works just like the day I bought it on sale at Sears. Sits on the counter. Easy to clean up. The steak was really tender. They have to have some fat running through them, otherwise they are tough.
